Roslin Cells are world leaders in the isolation of new clinical grade undifferentiated stem cells for use in research and therapy. Partners and collaborators benefit from highly characterised, thoroughly tested and documented undifferentiated stem cell lines, derived and tested in our cGMP compliant facility. Roslin Cells offers a fully collaborative service, encompassing high quality products and expert service.
To date, Roslin Cells has focused upon deriving human embryonic stem cells and has established an increasing portfolio of lines . These lines, coupled with quality assurance and a facility, running to current GMP standards, allows us to deliver an exceptional service. Roslin Cells has been independently verified according to rigorous standards and successfully attained ISO 9001:2008 certification in February 2009 (Certificate Number: FS 544151). Since then, the company have continued to demonstrate their meticulous standards, with successful annual renewals of their Human Tissue Authority (HTA) and Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) licenses.
Roslin Cells is currently collaborating with Universities, Blood Transfusion Services and private companies on projects ranging from the development of new cell therapies to the development of new technologies which will play a pivotal role in the regenerative medicine sector in coming years. The Company both leads and supports others in collaborations and takes a pro-active role in the preparation and submission of funding proposals to funding bodies.
