- Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) is part of the UK’s National Health Service and is the specialist provider of transfusion medicine in Scotland supplying high quality blood, tissues, products and services. It is also involved in innovative research into new products, technologies and services to improve the care for transfusion patients in NHS Scotland. SNBTS is providing the clinical and regulatory expertise required to ensure that the stem cells produced by Roslin Cells comply with the regulatory standards required for the cell lines to be of clinical grade
