Road
From the North, West, and East, join the Edinburgh City bypass (A720). Take the bypass to Straiton Interchange and follow the A701 (sign-posted for Penicuik and Peebles) past IKEA, to Bilston. At the Bilston mini-roundabout, turn left onto the B7006 to Roslin. From the South, take the A701 to Bilston and turn right onto the B7006 to Roslin. The Institute entrance is approximately 0.6miles / 1km from Bilston.
The journey time from the centre of Edinburgh is 20-30mins. The taxi fare for this journey is approximately £15.
Rail
The nearest mainline station to Roslin is Edinburgh Waverley, which has regular services to all parts of the United Kingdom. Timetable information is available from Networkrail.
