Roslin Cellab

Facilitating stem cell research for other life science companies

In addition to provision of high quality GMP derived human embryonic stem cells Roslin Cells is able to provide further support to its partners and collaborators through its relationship with Roslin Cellab.

Roslin Cellab is a "one stop" stem cell facility. Like Roslin Cells, it is located on the Roslin BioCentre campus and offers:

  • fully equipped research laboratories
  • staffed by a core team of technicians expert in stem cell culture and quality control testing;
  • ready access to research grade stem cell lines (from Roslin Cells)
  • access to Roslin Cells' experience of those cell lines and their behaviour in culture
  • all necessary approvals and licenses to carry out stem cell work

It has been established to make it easy for companies and researchers not equipped for stem cell research to conduct short, focused proof of concept stage research.

Companies/researcher can either subcontract work to Roslin Cellab or locate its staff to work in the Roslin Cellab laboratories.
