Translation of research to cGMP Standard

Translating research to cGMP Standard is not a simple process and many researchers and companies find themselves overwhelmed by the rigidity of regulations and sheer volume of compliance. The staff at Roslin Cells are experienced in working to these standards and can advise and assist on all aspects of your translation.

Advice and guidance available to our collaborators encompasses research protocols, protocol translation and the selection of cGMP compliant reagents and materials. It is important to engage with Roslin Cells early on in your research, as translation to clinical GMP standards on a large scale is much easier if you begin with a system which considers all aspects which will have to be translated to clinical standard later in the project.

Roslin Cells can offer advice and guidance or alternatively can execute the translation for you. Roslin Cells itself is an excellent example of this expertise in practise, as the company began as a few researchers in a laboratory, before being spun out as a limited company and having to translate all of our research, protocols and procedures to cGMP standards. As a result of having done this at a company wide level, the team have first hand experience in all aspects of translation, from culture expertise to cell line isolation.
